This presentation examines the political climate that surrounded the ministry of Jesus. It explores the working of the Pharisees and Sadducees, the major religious groups of the time. In this video you will see that the Jewish leadership violated many of their own laws in the trial of Jesus. It also analyzes the role of Pontius Pilate in the death of Jesus. In spite of all the injustices done to him personally, Jesus was willing to give his life to satisfy the demands of God’s justice.
