This children’s booklet is a creative, educational tool that teaches God’s redemptive plan as the “greatest mystery story ever told.” Written in an engaging, interactive format—with clues, questions, poems, and Bible verses—it explains how God’s promise of salvation began in Eden and continues through history until its full reveal in Christ’s Kingdom. The “mystery” centers on the identity and role of the promised Seed that will bless all families of the earth.
The mystery is God’s plan of salvation—a divine secret hidden through ages but gradually revealed in Scripture.
The “Author” of this mystery is God Himself.
Though unknown to much of the world, clues about the mystery are given all throughout the Bible and are now being more clearly understood as we near the end of the Gospel Age.
After Adam and Eve sinned in Eden, God gave the first prophetic clue in Genesis 3:15: “The Seed of the woman will bruise the serpent’s head.”
This “Seed” refers to one of Eve’s descendants who would ultimately destroy Satan, the great deceiver.
The mystery develops with God’s covenant to Abraham: “In your Seed all families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 22:17)
This Seed has two parts:
Heavenly (like the stars of the sky)
Earthly (like the sand of the seashore)
This shows that both a heavenly and earthly component will take part in God's plan to bless the world.
The Tabernacle of Israel contains symbolic clues:
The Bullock represented Christ (the Head), sacrificed first.
The Lord’s Goat represented the Church (the Body), following Christ’s sacrificial path.
These sacrificial symbols point to the necessity of the Heavenly Seed first dying before bringing blessings.
Isaiah prophesied a time when:
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap like a deer.
War will cease.
God’s Kingdom will be established with its capital in Jerusalem.
Other prophets also spoke of the Kingdom, adding more layers to the mystery.
Jesus used parables (like the parable of the net) to teach about gathering Christians (the “fish”).
His stories held deeper meanings that only spiritually-minded listeners could understand.
The Apostle Paul clearly identifies the mystery in Colossians 1:26 as Christ and the Church, the heavenly Seed, who together will bring blessings to all mankind.
The Seed of blessing is made of:
Jesus (the Head) and the Church (the Body) — the Heavenly Seed.
Faithful humans, beginning with restored Israel — the Earthly Seed.
Before they can bless others, the Heavenly Seed must first suffer and die—as symbolized in the Tabernacle.
In the coming Kingdom, both parts of the Seed will work together to bless the world from Jerusalem.
The booklet outlines 25 historical milestones that trace God’s promise from Eden to its final fulfillment. These include:
Adam and Eve’s fall and the initial promise.
Noah's family preserving the promise through the Flood.
Abraham receiving the covenant.
The promise passing through Isaac, Jacob, and the tribe of Judah.
The establishment of Israel, the Law, the Tabernacle, and the kingship of David.
Prophets warning and guiding Israel.
The arrival of Jesus, His sacrificial death, and the calling of the Church.
The regathering of Israel today as the earthly part of the Seed.
The final stage—when Christ and His Church are fully glorified and the Mystery begins to be revealed to the world, bringing blessings to all.
A poem titled “A Promise is Forever” reinforces the reliability of God’s Word and the enduring nature of divine promises.
Interactive elements like a "Detective Box," charts, questions, and scripture searches help children actively engage with the story of the mystery and understand their place in it.
The booklet presents the unfolding of God's eternal purpose as a hidden treasure slowly revealed through Scripture, culminating in the glory of Christ’s Kingdom.
