Begin the new year with a determination to be a person after God’s own heart as was David
The world today seems to be falling apart. From the corona pandemic, to the unjust death of George Floyd, humanity struggles with questions about God’s seeming indifference.
What is the answer? Does He love us or not? Is there a reason for His silence? In the Old Testament, Job asked some very similar questions when he experienced great personal tragedy. God’s answer covers four entire chapters.
This Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 9:00 am CST, we would like to invite you to a special service featuring a prophecy-oriented lecture, “Where are they? Where are thy wise men? And let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.” Isaiah 19:12 Egypt, the superpower […]
This Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 9:00am CST, we would like to invite you to a special service entitled, “In Jesus’ Name”. Together we will examine some of the names and titles of Jesus found in the scriptures such as Emmanuel, Christ, Messiah, The Lamb of God, The Son of Man, The Prince of Peace, and others. And […]
Given fifty-six years ago, the message is a classic example for introducing candidates to consecration and being Baptized into Christ’s death. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)
Together we examined some of the names and titles of Jesus found in the scriptures such as Emmanuel, Christ, Messiah, The Lamb of God, The Son of Man, The Prince of Peace, and others. And in those various names, we noted the illustrations and explanations of the deeper meaning of Jesus’ life, work, and doctrine. Apologies, video presentation […]
Together we will examine the harmony of the scriptures on this subject and the confusion arising from alternate interpretations for the 1260 “days” in popular but error-filled Christian writings in the bookstores. The end of the 1290 “days” were a time for the growth of Bible Societies spreading the Gospel throughout the earth. It was a time of “cleansing” from many of the “Dark Age” errors that kept the Christians in bondage. Even more wonderful is what follows the end of the 1335 “days.” Then the Lord promises both that those who love Him will be specially “blessed” and that he will “shake” all nations that the “desire of all nations” might come (Haggai 2:7). Wiley Satan and his many allies will not let Christ take control without a struggle.
This special Sunday morning service featured a prophecy-oriented topic about the “days” in the books of Daniel and Revelation. It offered a different perspective on the subject of the rapture, compared to that depicted in the “Left Behind” series. We hope you will enjoy this very interesting topic considered in light of Scripture. Please find a link to the recording […]
When we experience great disasters or suffering, the natural question that is often asked is, “If God really does exist and if He has the power to prevent these evil things from happening, why doesn’t He step in?” For example, why didn’t he prevent that devastating tsunami in Japan? Where was He when all those […]
