Ancient Israel's tabernacle was a foreshadowing of the great sacrificing to come with Jesus and his church. This two-sided chart provides a brief overview of the four categories of sacrifices that were at the heart of the functioning place of worship and offerings to God. A brief explanation of the New Testament significance is shown for each type of sacrifice offered.
On the reverse side is another chart which provides a comparison between the sacrificial ceremonies of Leviticus chapters 8, 9 & 16. Chapter 8 describes the eight day ceremony of the "Consecration of the Priesthood." Chapter 9 details the events which follow on the 8th day. Chapter 16 gives a detailed account of the annual "Day of Atonement." These three important events are compared and their significance are briefly explained.
