The Day of Judgment presents a hopeful and scripturally grounded view of Judgment Day, portraying it not as a time of terror and condemnation but as a thousand-year-long period of probation, enlightenment, and restoration under the reign of Jesus Christ. Drawing on Bible verses such as Psalm 96:11–13 and Acts 17:31, the booklet emphasizes that God’s judgment will be conducted “in righteousness” and “with truth,” giving all of humanity a fair and informed opportunity to choose life through obedience to divine principles.

Unlike traditional interpretations, this booklet argues that Judgment Day is not a literal 24-hour period, but a symbolic era—the Millennium, during which Christ serves as both King and Judge. During this time, all who have died without fully understanding or accepting Christ’s teachings will be resurrected, enlightened with the truth, and offered the chance to live righteously. Only those who have already accepted Christ in this present age are being judged now. Their judgment is ongoing and personal, based on their faith and life choices, and if successful, they will share with Christ in judging the rest of the world during the coming age.

The resurrection is central to this process. Jesus stated that all in the graves will one day “hear his voice and come forth”—those who have done good will receive the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil will receive the resurrection of judgment (krisis, a Greek word meaning testing or trial). The booklet stresses that this judgment is not condemnation, but a period of personal decision-making and moral growth, after people are fully informed of God's standards.

The idea of “the books being opened” (Rev. 20:12) is explained symbolically, referring to the opening of divine truths. People are judged according to their response to these truths, not by past sins or inherited guilt. Those who embrace the truth and obey it will have their names written in the Book of Life, securing their place in God’s eternal plan. Those who, even after enlightenment, reject God's truth will face the second death, symbolized by the “lake of fire”—a final and irreversible destruction, not eternal torment.

The Parable of the Sheep and Goats is reinterpreted to apply during the Millennial reign. All nations will be judged based on their attitude of love and service, particularly toward Christ and his followers. The “sheep” represent those who act with compassion and love—they will inherit the Earthly kingdom originally meant for humanity. The “goats” are those who remain self-centered and reject truth—they will be cut off from life.

The booklet concludes with a powerful reassurance that God’s judgment is just, merciful, and redemptive. Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but to save it, and that salvation plan includes a fair opportunity for all—even those who died in ignorance. Ultimately, the Judgment Day will be a time of global blessing, restoration, and joy, when “the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9). For this reason, the psalmist calls upon all creation to rejoice, for the Lord comes “to judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.”
