The exciting prospect of God’s kingdom causes us to wonder, “when will this resurrection take place and the Kingdom be established?” The disciples asked Jesus this very question in the 24th chapter of Matthew. They asked, “Tell us, Master, when shall these things be, and what shall be the sign of thy presence and the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)

Jesus proceeded to give his disciples evidences that would enable those who were watching to recognize when this time would be near. He said in Matthew 24:21, 22, “Then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved.”
