Having examined the word sheol, the only word in the Old Testament rendered “hell,” and the word hades, most frequently in the New Testament rendered “hell,” we now notice every remaining instance in Scripture of the English word “hell.” In t h e N e w Te s t a m e n t t w o o t h e r w o r d s  a r e  r e n d e r e d  ” h e l l ” : namely, Gehenna and tartaroo, which we will consider in the order named.
